Hair

Hair, beautiful hair. The more precious follicles we lose down the drain, the more we cherish them. Yet, far too many men, whether due to pride or lack of knowledge, fail too take any steps to retain their youthful hairlines or thick luster of old.
In fact, many go to the extremes, by surrendering and shaving off all of their hair, Kojak style. Well, bald may be beautiful, but if you strapped any head shaver to a lie detector, no doubt you would find that 99% of them would prefer a full head of hair.  But, what can be done to keep your hair on your head and not in your sink basin?

Believe it or not, there are several good old-fashioned remedies that you can use right now, for little or no cost. One thing you can do is massage your scalp. It stimulates dormant hair follicles to grow hair and refreshes the ones that are still active to keep pumping them out. Just rubbing your finger tips over your scalp rather vigorously for five minutes each morning and night can go a long way toward keeping your current hair thickness intact.  As far as what to massage into your scalp, some people swear by beef marrow. Of course, there are many over the counter tonics as well, and many of them work very well. But the key to retaining your hair is making sure that you consistently massage your scalp.

There are also things you should avoid to prevent the acceleration of hair loss. For example, you should not use a hot hairdryer to blow dry your hair. It is not a good idea to use a sharp-toothed comb either. It is better to towel dry your hair or use the cool air mode on your hair dryer. Also, it is better to us a wide-tooth comb on you hair. In addition, sunshine and fresh air also have natural hair restorative powers as well.  Of course these natural remedies are not always enough to keep your hair from falling out, but they can at least help slow the process. In addition, there are many medicinal and cosmetic options available as well, which we cover extensively in other sections of MailBalding.com.
